history of the lightning chapter
the lightning chapter is a chapter of the adeptus Astartes and was born out of the bond between the white scars chapter and the raven guard chapter after The hunt of Voldorius campaign on the desert planet of Mankarra.
So as prove of their bond, the new chapter fortress of the lightning was built on Mankarra were they work together to purge Voldorius and his army and were the bond between the two chapters was form.

As a new chapter they have adopted the swift and powerful charge tactics of the white scar and the stealthy and assassin like tactic of the raven guard were even at some time Kayvaan Shrike the shadow captain take place in such tactic in battle.
