Step 1
Basecoat Camo Green
Step 2
Add patches of Tallarn Flesh
Step 3
Highlight of 50:50 Camo Green:Rotting Flesh over the green parts, highlight the pink parts with 20:40:40 Tallarn Flesh:Camo Green:Rotting Flesh
Step 4
Wetbrush all over the skin with Rotting Flesh
Step 5
Wash with Scorched Brown+Vallejo Glaze Medium+Half A Gallon Of Water
Step 6
Same wash as in step 5 but with some Dark Ang3ls Green added in the recesses
Step 7
Go play videogames and let the big guy dry.
OK have some more steps then folks.![]()
Here's what he looked like after all the glazes had dried:
Step 8
Smear some Leviathan Purple wash into the recesses (ie where the folds of skin overlap one another)
Step 9
The tedious and time-consuming part ... re-highlight all the flabs with pure Rotting Flesh. What I am doing here is loading a tiny drop of Rotting Flesh on the tip of a large brush and carefully spreading it over the flabs in one direction, to make it look like parchment-like translucent stretchy necrose skin. It's sort of like spreading a little lump of butter over a large area of bread, if that makes any sense.
If you repeat the steps on the same spot over and over again that spot will look less translucent and more stretched (as if the inner organs of the daemon are pushing against the skin).
This stage will take a while longer so don't expect any more updates for a while ... have fun, Olds.![]()
